I had heard from my HOA that Gravinas had installed doors in our condo complex and knew the requirements so I stopped by the Littleton office. Since it was before Christmas I needed to wait until January to get my patio door. Marvin Windows makes windows and doors to order. A delivery truck brought the door and there was a separate truck for the installer. Great people to work with. We recently did a full frame replacement of all the windows in our home with Infinity from Marvin Ultrex Fiberglass windows. The windows are wonderful, the installation was efficient and well done and the final finish (stained) was nicely done. After a lot of research, my wife and I visited Gravina's Window Center in Littleton. When we realized that he sold Marvin windows, I assumed that the price would be well out of our range and I was resigned to turning around and looking elsewhere. I was wrong. Once Gravina's began the job, they stayed until it was completely finished.Their attention to detail is outstanding, and their employees' greatwork ethic was amazing!Their workdays were always in 95 deg. heat on a south facing wall, but they dealt with it. All finishing aspects such as drywalling, new trimwork, & painting were either done by Gravina's or a subcontractor who was equally as diligent. The work was good but slow. They didn't put enough people on the job. Most days they only had one or two people working on the house when they had said they would send out 5 or 6 people. The work took about 3 times longer then they had indicated it would bu7t the end result was very good. Replaced all windows in our home and then replace the siding with a James Hardy product.
First large group of windows ordered and installed, overall the experience was good. Regarding the one custom arched window that I am waiting on, the jury is still out. The sales people at Gravinas are so very pleasant that I want to be fair and give them a good rating, however, the last small $2,000 order that is being neglected by them, has me feeling quite negative. They were awesome! Their service is great, and they took care of everything in a timely manner. They are more expensive than a Lowes or Home Depot, but their products are high quality and you get excellent service for the price. Gravina’s installed a new front door on my home.
Overall I was happy with the service and work performed by Gravina's. I chose Gravina's because I preferred to work with a local family owned businessand I wanted Marvin brand doors. I visited the showroom, met with Dee B. and he was able to meet with me the same day atmy house to go over the product options, and prepare an estimate that was reasonable/comparable and within my budget. The crew arrived on time, and theyinstalled the windows perfectly. They didn’t leave any mess behind, and I was really pleased by their professional service.
