RecommendedI had heard great things about Great Lakes Hospital for Animals and recently saw this for myself. Sadly, we needed to euthanize our sweet 9 year old dog and experienced nothing but patience, kindness, and professionalism. All the staff we had contact with were outstanding! I cannot stress the patience part enough with all the explaining what was going on and letting us take as much time as we needed for our final goodbye........ Thank you so much for all you do!
RecommendedGod bless Dr. Vito and all the staff. we came in with our fur baby cynder, who unfortunately had already passed. they did everything they could even tho it was too late. The amount of compassion they have is second to none. thank you all for everything you did.

RecommendedI would like to write a recommendation for Great Lakes Hospital for Animals. My approaching 14 yr. old Aussie recently got a 1 1/2 lb fatty tumor removed. Never think a surgery is going to cost less. In fact you should have some extra $ for complications. (Well, it went better than expected and I was really surprised to be charged less.) The office even called me the next morning before I had a chance to call them with my concern. Skippy had not used the bathroom and needed to be catheterized. I was not charged an off... read more
RecommendedBest experience with a vet, ever!!! I called to make an appointment for my dog who had allergies. They were able to get me in the same week! I called for my mom on a weekend as they were closing because we were concerned because her dog was doing a “reverse sneeze” but we didn’t know what it was at the time. We thought he was seizing. They talked us through it all and set us at ease. I would recommend this place to anyone.
