We were seated next to a loud family and that was less than ideal when spending money to eat out. The server was inexperienced and the manager although very friendly seemed a bit overwhelmed with all of the young wait staff. Nothing special with their brunch menu and the $8 mimosas were fairly weak. I will stick with coming here for dinner during the week when they have steaks and their regular menu.
Food quality has declined. Waitperson did not advise us of daily specials that we saw on a chalkboard outside the restaurant when leaving. Service was so-so. Not eager to return actually.
Grindstone has great food and options, a good variety of draft beers. Seating is not designed for romantic or quiet dinners, but food variety and quality are great.

We enjoy going to this restaurant so I didn’t hesitate to take my children there when they were in town. Dinner, as usual, was very good. Our waitress, though, was not. She was absent for long periods of time, she forgot about a drink re-order, and she gave me the bill before we received our deserts. Overall, we left, very unimpressed.
Great food and service, we were all freezing upstairs as agent would blow cold air. It became a room joke to enjoy the couple minutes of warmth when it went off. Very loud and hard to hear.

The food was delicious-prime rib was perfect as was the patty melt. Service was excellent. The only problem-very noisy. We were downstairs at a table for 6-maybe it would have been less noisy upstairs-we did ask for downstairs. Overall we will definitely be back!
