The decor was awesome, but we had a hard time hearing each other because the music was loud. They were very busy, so our service was very slow. We waited about 30 minutes before our order was placed, and when you have a five and three-year-old, that makes for a restless dinner.
Always a good meal, and good service. Always greeted with smiling faces too.
The ambiance of this restaurant is great and they've done a really good job at making this a unique place to dine. The crab dip is amazing but the two main courses I've had were average. The service was good but both of my dining experiences have been in large groups and we were seated in very noisy spots with a lot of foot traffic. Next time I may request a table on the upper level as that section was empty during both visits.
First time at this restaurant, and was greatly surprised. The service and food was outstanding!! The menu provides a great variety. Will start coming here on a regular basis.
We sat in the bar for Sunday brunch. Just a small criticism, the chairs by the tall tables are difficult to move in the space available. Ordered a Blood Mary and a Mimosa, both were on special. The Bloody Mary was fine, but it appeared they used less than premium OJ in the Mimosa. We had chicken and waffles, and corned beef hash. Both were very good and we would definitely order again. The service was timely but not obtrusive.
Food was delicious as always. It was very busy but service was good.
Excellent cocktails. Excellent cuban sandwich and fish tacos. Was a little louder than expected but final 4 on so maybe should have expected it. Will definitely come back.
We recently dined at the Grindstone Public House during the week. The staff was attentive and paced our dinner at a relaxed rate, which we made clear was our desire. The menu is typical American fare and offers a wide enough selection for most diners. The wine list is less extensive, but it offers a varied selection of moderately priced wines by the glass and/or bottle. Our food was well prepared. Our desserts were tasty, but following the trend in Indiana, way too large. I recommend this established without hesitation.
I love that downtown Noblesville has yet another great place to eat. The interior of Grindstone is cool, the service is great, and the food is fabulous. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and the fish tacos . . . with a craft beer!
