Grindstone Public House is one of our “go to” places. The Hoosier Hot Plate is the perfect dish for anyone who likes tenderloins. If you are a fish lover I would recommend the Salmon. The service is fantastic and the ambiance second to none.

We usually love going to Grindstone. This Friday night was not quite up to par. Service was very slow. One of our meals was very good. The other was a hamburger which was good for a hamburger with a side of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a sticky, icky pale glob of goo floating in oil. This seemed to be microwaved left overs of not very good mac and cheese with very little flavor, a baby food texture and no browned top that one expects from this dish. My husband and I came here to celebrate his 25th birthday and it was amazing . The restaurant was very quiet and peaceful, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the pretzels with cheese dip appetizer.

Highly recommend the crab dip appetizer. Next time, I’ll likely order it and a side salad as my meal. The tiny toppers slider was better than the filet slider, and the ranch dressing was superb on my side salad. We’ll definitely be back again!

We were celebrating a family birthday. The service and food were outstanding. Our two servers (I am embarrassed to say I didn’t catch their names) were extremely friendly and attentive. 5 stars!!
