Your repair man Eric Doan came to repair my furnace and he removed a flame sensor and cleaned it and put it back. He never mentioned replacing it. He was here for over an hour but spent most of his time trying to get me to purchase a new furnace. I declined. He charged me $198.00. My furnace ran for approximately 11 hours. That's it. I called my son in law and he came down from Howard Ohio and went to a heating supply store and got a new flame sensor for $27 and installed it and my furnace hasn't stopped working. I thought we were dealing with a mom and pop company. All the tech wanted to do was replace the furnace for 9000.00. Repair for 1300.00 for parts not needed. I found the control board was bad, buying a new one today for 229.00 I would never call your group again

Furnace quit, technician said $5000 for a new one or $1200 for blower..Flat rate

Very confused about the bill. 49.00 diagnostic definitely acceptable. I'm under warranty for parts. Technician told me the capacitor was bad and it was 124.00. Then when I said I have a warranty that parts are free for 3 years. He then said well then it's for the labor. It literally took him approximately 8 minutes to install said part....so you're saying you get paid 124.00 every 8 minutes 🤔 🙄. It has been my experience to have contractors come into our home who do in fact abide by my requests like shoe covers, however, the request is treated much like a nuisance. The gentlemen from 5 star who came into our home adhered to all requests and never once did they convey an attitude of annoyance or inconvenience. Additionally, they were mindful of our property both indoors and outdoors. I cannot attest to the others who are employed by 5 star, but Brian and David were most obliging, pleasant and respectful.
