Becareful when trading a car with payments left to be paid off I went into Gwinnett Place Nissan looking for a new car I traded in my Maxima in which I was leasing and advised my salesman that I had 6 payments left on the car, and needless to say that they never paid the car off and lost the paperwork on the car leaving me to pay $2700.00 on the car in which th...

In June 2008, my husband (fiance at the time) were in the market for an SUV with a 3rd row seat. At the time I drove a Nissan Maxima and was very pleased with the way it performed over the course of my ownership. We were driving past the Gwinnett Place Nissan and decided to take a look at what they had to offer. We were greeted immediately and shown several different SUVs that met our...

My Sales Experience was Appalling! On 13th August 2008, Gwinnett Place Nissan placed a very attractive ad in the AJC News paper advertising a sale price of $12,760 for a 2008 Nissan Xterra X. I called them at about 6:30PM on the same day. The sales manager told me that one of the two advertised car was sold and if I visit them soon...

Don't go here for service I went to this dealer for a recall for my Nissan Sentra SE-R. It was an ECM reprogram. They wouldn't do it because the car was "coding". I had them diagnose it for a rediculous fee of $125.00. They wanted me to replace my entire wiring harness at a cost of $2400! They also wanted to charge me f...

A Horror I did not buy a vehicle here because of the experience. The first person I dealt with was extremely nice and straightforward, but he passed me off to someone who kept giving me pricing information I couldn't figure out. They had a $600 document fee, which I told them I wouldn't pay. He said he'd ...

Be aware with credit problems Most dealers try to lure you in with good intentions. If you you have credit problems, you should be aware you might not always get the result you are looking for if your credit will not allow them to get the credit for a car loan you want. It's in there best interest to get the loan approved at the bank.

You are upset with the wrong person/business Dear Brenda, First I apologize about what happened to you! It is an extremely bad feeling to have to bring back a car that you have spent time falling in love with, So I do understand your anger!! But I will say it is a little misguided! I am a current longterm employee with Gwinnett Place Nissan! I am actually sitting at my desk currently as I type this! You are upset because the dealer...

car dealers don't let car buyers take cars home before the financing is approved because of good faith. Timothy car dealers don't let car buyers take cars home before the financing is approved because of good faith. They want the car buyers to take the cars home because they do not want the car buyers to continue to shop at other dealerships. Call it taking the car buyer off the market. If a car buyer did not take the car home before the financing was a done deal, many car buyers might still...

Good Experience I recently bought a 2004 Nissan Titan from Gwinnette Place and I found it to be a very pleasant experience. Sure I had to haggle to get the price I was looking for, but in the end I got a better price on my truck than others I have talked to. They also gave me my first service visit free, and detailed the truck before I left. I really felt that the salesman went out of his way to make sure I...
