My PCP referred me to Dr. Hon after blood tests indicated a spike in the AST and ALT counts and my complaint of fatigue, weakness and swelling behind my left knee (Baker's cyst). Dr. Hon ran a full panel of liver blood tests and found 2 possible liver conditions: auto-immune hepatitis or fatty liver disease. My experience seeing Dr. Hon has been exceptional! She is the kindest, most caring physician I have ever seen. I felt completely in good hands with her knowledge and experience. I couldn't ask for a better doctor!
My visit with Dr. Hon was wonderful. She was kind, patient, a good listener as well. She took the time to explain the different possible diagnosis and what further testing would need to be completed. She was considerate of time and cost when recommending the testing options. The only negative was that the office forgot to select the radiology test on the order form with my checkout papers. I waited an hour for them to fax over a new order form to the radiologist.

Dr. Hon was absolutely fantastic. She has a great bedside manner, which is often not the case for doctors of her caliber. She did not rush me at all and made sure I left feeling confident in her diagnosis and recommendations.
I have seen several Gastroenterologists over the past 15 years for various gastric issues and conditions. None have made as positive an impression upon me as Dr. Hon. Primarily, this has to do with her "bedside" manner, the completeness of her feedback following both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy as well the level of interest she demonstrated in providing a real solution to my issues. She's now my new Favorite Physician!

I am baffled by the positive reviews. She was Very rude. I wouldn't trust her. My sister went in looking for help after being referred to her and Dr. Hon was the rudest doctor we have ever encountered. She just sat in silence and shrugged. Never touched her. Never cared.
