They inconsistently handle deposits sometimes they place insurance checks into the wrong account (like savings instead of checking), and they randomly decide when to hold checks. One check clears immediately, the next is held without clear reasoning. As a business owner, this makes bookkeeping a nightmare and disrupts cash flow.

**** has purchased a local financial institution and has done nothing to make the transition work for people who's finances were taken over by them. I have had multiple issues since this takeover with no help the only offer I get is we're sorry or we dont see anything on our end. This has been extremely disappointing and a sad example of corporate greed negatively impacting community members.

I would have given 1 star but the lady was 'half way' decent.Yiu can not do anything by phone you must go to the credit union or do a video... nope I had all my info that no one could have ever guessed. And I just had a simple yes or no question and it had nothing to do with my money... crazy

HAPO Community Credit Union will charge you every fee possible. Tried to pay an auto loan off early and so I sent in an extra payment to reduce my loan balance. The payment was for principle only. They subtracted interest charges from the payment and refused to apply the payment to principle only. The customer service representative could not understand that I only wanted to pay towards the principal balance. This company is predatory and dosen't know what they are doing. I have a car loan that is on auto pay for more than what is my minimum. The day my loan is set to be paid with autopay THAT THEY SET UP THE DATE FOR I get a call for not making a payment. They reported to Taransunion that I did not make a payment for March I belive it was and checked my bank statement and I have a payment to HAPO for the month and the months prior and after. They may know how to play the BBB game, but read the reviews of this credit union. We were talked into using them by a car dealership. What a mess. First, our insurance company messed up and didnt make them the beneficiary on the policy. No problem... corrected it. We thought all was done. Now, 2 months later, they threaten us that if we can't prove that we had the insurance correct for the time that it was wrong, they would bill us $670 for two months. Someone opened up a fraudulent account in my name and HAPO won't close the account. They referred me to a website on credit reports. They stated they need a notarized affidavit to help me, but they evidently didn't need any real proof to open the account.

Worst credit union on the planet. Never have I been charged a service fee for paying my payment with debit card online, yet this criminal bank charges an additional $12. Its free if you set up automatic withdrawls which makes no sence because its literally the same transaction. Nothing but bad reviews from customers yet BBB gives a+ rating showing BBB is a fraud also. Do not Bank with Hapo Community Credit Union.

Credit unions are supposed to have less fees than big banks. Ive been charged more fees in the 2 years Ive been with this company than all 10 years I was with a big bank. I wish I could give 0 stars! The service ***** the fees are charged ***** nilly whenever they feel like it not following a clear structure and then when you call they always give you a hard time!
