A little history about HAPO We are often asked what "HAPO" stands for. HAPO is an acronym for Hanford Atomic Products Operations. HAPO was formed by a group of non-exempt workers at the Hanford nuclear site in 1953 to provide a place to save and borrow money. Our first office was located in Kadlec Hospital. Regarding my Recently paid off Car Loan: HAPO definitely came through with a very competitive interest rate. Regarding the loan itself, I found HAPO very hard to work with. Hold time or time in Que, when calling customer service is terrible. For Auto loan customers, you won't be able to establish an on line login, so if you have questions and want to look up the status of your loan, You Can't ! You also won't receive monthly a statement regarding your loan. At one point, the customer service was so bad, I literally could not... read more
This was my first time using HAPO and the dealership found them because they had the best interest rate. I would absolutely finance through them again!
I love Hapo, I have banking with them for only a year but they are always quick when serving you at each location. Great service, would recommend to anyone.
STAY AWAY from HAPO… One of the absolute worst banking experiences I have ever had. Will likely be filing with the BBB for just how unorganized, dishonest, and unethical this institution is. I opened a new auto-loan with them to save a couple bucks over the traditional credit union I usually have loans through. HUGE mistake. I lost hundreds in the span of a couple months and lost more than that in time. Not only was their “insurance department” legitimately trying to scam me into adding an $800 premium onto my loan.
