The history of Hartford Hospital is long and illustrious. Founded in 1854, it was the first hospital to be built in Hartford. An industrial explosion that killed or injured many people spurred the community to build the area’s first hospital, and from those early beginnings has grown the leading medical center in Hartford and one of the finest hospitals in New England. Hartford Hospital is the major teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Connecticut Medical School, serving the New England region. Our reputation... read more

I had an appointment with Erica and she started off with “I don’t feel comfortable with writing you any Lyrica, Cymbalta, or Tramadol scripts due to my medical history of having oxy, and hydro codein. I then proceeded to tell her I wasn’t taking those meds anymore because I was all healed up from three surgeries and that when I was recovering from those surgeries I definitely didn’t take my lyrica cymbalta or Tramadol at the same time. She said that “we are not that type of pain facility and proceeded to give me a paper of o... read more
What a shockingly poor disaster today, for my poor sister. Let me start by saying my sister loves her MD at this practice, and I am very grateful to the X-Ray professional and the other staff member who helped my sister. My sister had to go in for a pain procedure today, related to a previous injury. As I sat in the waiting room anxious for updates, the fire alarm suddenly started going off. Without a word to anyone in the waiting are, the front desk staff literally grabbed their coats off of their chairs and left, totall... read more
I wasn't happy with the way the I was treated by PA. Every one else was nice and friendly but the PA I saw wouldn't let me finish a thought, kept interrupting me. Kept saying.. I also said, "You keep interrupting me and won't let me finish what I am saying!" She also accused me of badmouthing my Dr... which I wasn't! I was just saying what my Surgeon told me. Which was the d... read more
The most caring, considerate & amazing staff from the front desk to the doctor's and everyone in between. They listened to what I had to say and made me a part of my care plan. Procedures were explained until I understood what was happening. No question was ignored. Highly recommended them and though I'm hoping I do need there services, they're my first call if I do.
I had my injections two weeks ago and it was not a good injection session. Usually 99% of the time I walk out of my procedure without pain, but for some reason this time I left felt worse than I came in. I was not satisfied and I had to resolve back to my pain medication. I know it takes a couple of weeks to set in, but my last session of injections felt just like and reminded me of how I used to get injections back in Middletown, which were awful. I’m not a complainer, but if I had to choose the one to , give me my injectio... read more
