Great restaurant! We started out for a few cocktails at the bar downstairs and received wonderful service. The dining room is cozy and decorated like a nice lodge. We had the crab cakes and salmon / trout dip as appetizers - both wonderful. I had the Springer Mountain chicken which was great. My wife had the salmon (which was a little under cooked) but otherwise good. Service in the dining room was great. Impressive to see how the other servers backed up the tables that were not theirs.
food was outstanding, as usual, will reserve again the next time we are in town. this is the only place where we eat in Blue Ridge
Our server was great! Very attentive. We didn't feel rushed through the our time spent there. Food is always excellent!
When we are in BR, we always have at least one meal at Harvest. The staff and food are always excellent. We have never had a bad meal, the duck is incredible, along with the salmon, chicken and steak. I highly recommend this establishment. Just be sure to make reservations or you will most likely be eating at the bar!
The food was very good but the price was a little high for north Georgia. I would expect these prices in fancy areas of the big cities.
We started out with the smoked salmon and trout spread which was amazing! I had the Bistro Steak prepared sous vide, absolutely awesome cooked medium. My date had the trout, both dishes were well prepared and loved the presentation of both. We will be back next time we are in the area.
Harvest on Main is a great restaurant, with a quiet and peaceful ambiance. They update their menu a lot and offer really great entrees and appetizers that are different and delicious. We eat their frequently.
Harvest on Main is my go to restaurant in Blue Ridge. We have been many times and bring our friends often. Gourmet meals with really fresh local ingredients. They have a good wine list and attentive servers. Consistently good.
Three of us went and had a good time. The prices were higher than the food and atmosphere warrant, but that is because they see themselves as the high point of downtown Blue Ridge. But don't get me wrong, the Filet Mignon, Bistro Steak and even meatloaf were delicious, but after adding a cocktail and a bottle of wine, well....you just shouldn't have to pay a bill over $200 for something that is just nice.
