Restaurant's food was quite good however our experience was dampened by the poor service received. We ordered two drinks to start the evening and both of them were wrong. It took a few minutes to get the waitress's attention to have the drinks remade and then took at least ten minutes to get the new drinks. This was not due to the place being overcrowded since there weren't more than twenty five people in the restaurant. My wife and I were in Blue Ridge for a weekend getaway and this restaurant came highly recommended. Unfortunately, this was a dinner where one thing after another led to a miserable experience. Although we booked a reservation 2 months out, we were surprised to find that we were led through the main dining room and then downstairs to the bar where we were sat beside it, under a tv, and adjacent to a side door. We waited over an hour and a half for our food. Others tables were seated after us, received their drinks, appetizers, food and then paid and left before we got our main course. We saw our waiter maybe twice during this time. Half of the food was cold when we received it. This place is overpriced for the atmosphere and service.

We've been before and it was much better. They've changed a few things and not for the good. The crab dip isn't as good as it was... and they've added these crackers to it. The BQ sandwich was average... wouldn't get it again. My son had the chicken pot pie and it was really good he said. Just not as good as it was but will give it another try.

Good food, lousy atmosphere. We made a reservation yet were seated in the bar area which was very loud. The bar area also has access to restrooms, kitchen, and the server station so there was constant traffic.

Food was ok. Main dishes were fine but all side items were cold. Service was lacking. I ran out of water twice and we never got the bread basket we were offered. Finally we stopped another server to ask for our check after our table had already been cleared and then waited another 10 minutes. Very disappointing as this was supposed to have been our special dinner with our two daughters while we were there on their fall break from school.

My $20 pasta dish consisted of pasta, tons of stewed tomatoes, a teaspoon of ricotta cheese and microscopic olive bits. The side salad was lettuce and pickled stringed beans. The mashed potato side dish was tiny. Very over priced and everything was a la cart.

Last time was fabulous! This time was just ok. Overheard a loud waiter say to some hurricane evacuees to come back on Friday because everything was fresh-so did we not get fresh? We were disappointed comparing to last time!

We've been here several times, and we always look forward to having a meal here when we come to Blue Ridge. Tonight, though, we were disappointed. My husband's rib eye steak, which should be medium well was completely well done, and my duck, which should have been medium rare, was completely rare (as in raw) in some pieces. At their price, one would expect more reliable results.
