Do not waste your money at Haven Animal Hospital. A little over six weeks ago, a cyst appeared on my cat's lip. I brought her in, and it was drained. Two weeks later, it appeared again and I brought her back in. When I returned to pick her up, my cat still had a cyst on her lip… they gave me a bill for $90, a quote for a $2400 recommended dental procedure Oh & also apparently they had treated her "cat acne" but not the cyst. They then told me that a $1200 surgery would be required to remove the cyst and when I expressed that... read more

The animal hospital scheduled my dogs second round of shots late had me come in and get the shots only to make me schedule a third round and made me pay for it again !! Absolutely ridiculous! So I’m switching to a different place for my pet. Do not recommend this place for anyone!

brought cat in for UTI test and they came out with paperwork for 400 about liver kidney failure before a diagnosis cat hadnt even been checked or brought in yet. was then charged 350 for test and shots and medicine for her. after getting the pills they were labeled for 3/4 month year old kittens ours is a hefty 5 year old cat made me think they were uneeded overcharged. then wanted 50 more for a checkup.

Business response:

We are so sorry that you didn't have a positive experience with us. Please give us a call so we can address your concerns and answer any questions that you may have!

Went to the hospital for a checkup, left with an invoice 3x the amount I expected to pay and medicine my cat didn't need. Never heard from the doctor, and the lady from day-after follow up call told me that my cat's condition is unremarkable and "will probably go away after you get her spayed." Wasn't a great visit, and now my other cat is mad that the patient cat smells like hospital.

Business response:

Hi Vron! We are so sorry that you didn't have a positive experience with us at your cat's visit. We would love to answer any questions you have. Please call us so we can address your concerns!

I brought my dog is who is going through toxic ingestion. I called first they said they would see what they could do to help. we got there, exam was done. they wanted $500 for her to stay overnight. we couldnt do that. we were very quickly rushed out of there with no hope when we said we couldnt afford that much. I will never go back. compassion for animals? no.. money hungry.. yep!

Business response:

Hi Lindsey, we are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your pet’s visit. We aim to provide the highest quality of care to your furry friend and are saddened that you felt otherwise. If you would like to discuss your visit further and in more detail, call and speak with our Executive Director directly. Haven Animal Hospital

As a former veterinary technician, I'm always glad to hear about a vet hospital that does not declaw cats! Declawing is an antiquated, barbaric procedure with no medical benefit to the animal, and the veterinary industry as a whole has condoned and sanitized it for far too long. Thanks for being leaders in your field and helping to bring the United States up to the standards of most of the rest of the civilized world by NOT declawing cats!

Business response:

Thank you for your support! Haven Animal Hospital

Thank you for not declawing cats; for not performing this barbaric partial digital amputation on a once healthy cat. I made sure my veterinarian did not declaw before I chose one. Thankfully they are nearby, otherwise I would travel counties if I had to. There is a lot of talk about fear free pets, especially declawed cats, who are difficult to get into their carriers and off to the vets. Why would a declawed cat want to go to a 'doctor' who caused her/him life long pain? Why would a cat who has claws want to go, they know w... read more
