I have been enjoying Haven for years - always have a great meal, service and atmosphere. It is a bit loud during dinner so not good for larger groups. Hit the ATM beforehand - prices are creeping up!

Went to Haven for a second time and was just as good this time! Went for a friend's birthday and we really enjoyed it. Our waiter, Greg, made several recommendations. For appetizers he suggested the vegetable plate. We were a bit surprised, vegetables for appetizer???? It was AWESOME!!! I asked for his recommendation between plates for dinner, salmon or scallops. My out-of-town guest and I had a wonderful meal Friday evening. We had the skate wing special - neither of us had ever had skate before - and it was divine. The cauliflower "couscous" was also a revelation and was such a treat for someone like me who is gluten sensitive. Our waiter, Rob, made sure that my skate wing was dusted only in cornmeal with no flour, and he suggested a crisp and delicious Chardonnay - not usually a favorite varietal of mine - that paired wonderfully with the meal. Tuesday burger night is fabulous. A huge burger made perfectly with lettuce, tomato and bacon and a pile of fries. Cannot eat another item. Crab cake was good and the specialty soup was fantastic. Cannot stay away. Service was great, as always and Chef Stephen does a great job creating. Make the broccoli soup a regular on your menu, so I can try it next visit when not having the burger.

First time at Haven. Went on Tuesday for their beer or wine and a burger! It was great. Restaurant was packed, even on a rainy night. Burger was excellent, came with a mound of fries. You were able to pick from a few wines or beers... It was great, I will be back!

My wife and I go to Haven about once a week and have always enjoyed it. Stephen Herman, the chef, is always coming up with specials that I frequently order and have always enjoy. Gordon is an excellent server as are the rest. A definite recommended restaurant.

Nestled amongst apartments and condos in a new development area of Brookhaven there is this little bright spot. The food was good but every brunch dish at our table was in want of one more item. Everyone left hungry. A tiny pile of fruit next to an omelet for example. And this was a sane omelet. Not one of those huge things you get at some places. Feathery and light. What a wonderful way to celebrate our 52nd anniversary. We have tried a number of restaurants since we moved here and we keep coming back to Haven. A restaurant must have three ingredients: Food, Service and Ambiance, and Haven has all three and then some. Our server, Karen, greets us. The filet with scrambled eggs and hash browns is phenomenal and cooked to perfection. My husband had the frittatta for the third time we're at Haven.
