I stumbled across this restaurant when going to Verde. I opted for Haven instead since we eat at Verde all the time. I was pleasantly surprised. This was delicious! The mussels are the best I've ever had and they have great entrees. Their brunch is also delicious. Service is always great and you can't go wrong with any food options.
We just happened to go to Haven on Tuesday night and learned that Tuesdays are their special burger night. My husband chose to go for the deal, and he was treated to a hefty, beefy burger on a Holman and Finch bun with a heaping mound of fries - and his choice of a glass of wine or a beer - all for $15! As repeat customers for many years, our pleasant experience always begins with the energetic, friendly valet who is there waiting with a smile on his face and a memory like an elephant. He always welcomes us back and "so glad to see you again, hope you enjoy your meal". Doesn't get better than Haven and Valenza!
Our group of four loved Haven. Our server was attentive but did not hover. He was helpful with our ordering decisions - everything sounded so good. In the end we each had the same thing-the trout. It was delicious. We also enjoyed the butter lettuce salad. At first we were a little put off by the closeness of the tables and the noise level, but this was not a problem. We soon forgot all about it, as the conversation flowed at our table!
We had special friends visiting us from Charlotte and wanted to share our neighborhood gem with them. Service was fantastic! My scallops were amazing.. as usual. My husband ordered the Grouper and it was not good and I would have sent it back!! We will return and will continue to recommend to our friends and family.
I was there with three other people for brunch. We sat outside on a beautifully cool Sunday morning. The patio is a delightful place to dine, weather permitting. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals - the crab cake, the frittata, and two of us had the Scottish salmon. Tucked away off Peachtree, a gem of a neighborhood restaurant. Terrific simple yet sophisticated food in a simple, yet sophisticatc space. Go often.
