Great food as always and great wine recommendation - we bring friends from out of town who want to imagine what living in the neighborhood is like - never disappointed.
The Haven has the best ambience indoors and outdoors on their patio. The food is always excellent and the service is outstanding. Never a complaint. On Father's Day brunch service was a bit slow, which is unusual, but worth the wait.
It had been a while that we had been to Haven from a bad experience before, but everything was excellent this time. The soft shell crab (special) app was outstanding. My tuna was cooked perfectly and flavorful. Scallops were outstanding. We will be back again soon.
The food was truly, very good - everyone had a different entree and all were very happy. We had reservations for a party of 8 and were seated in a small room in the back of the restaurant, at a table suitable for 5 people (the table was also broken). The host was gracious when we asked for a more comfortable table. Staff seemed annoyed to serve our meals...perhaps a little training would help.
This is the third time in less than two months that I have had the wonderful pleasure of dining at Haven. Each time has been unique in itself. Dining outside is preferred. The band on Thursday night is outstanding and the food and service always fabulous. No matter what the occasion, Haven is a favorite - just make sure you reserve your table.
This is a top restaurant with a superb wine list and great food at reasonable prices.Outdoor dining is an option worth considering
We live right around the corner from Haven and are regulars. The servers, service and food are always exceptional, never had a bad experience here. My husband and I highly recommend Haven for any time or occasion, you just can't go wrong. Thank you Haven for being our go-to neighborhood gem!
Husband ordered ricotta tortellini that was tasty and with good presentation. He also had the grilled caesar salad. It is not a traditional Caesar salad and it is small. (Tortellini alone would not have been sufficient.) I ordered the pork tenderloin special with black eye peas. Entree tasty, but meat a tad dry. The potato hay is wonderful. Great food, great service. We ate inside because there was live music outside and this was a business dinner. I had Indian visitors with me the were vegetarian. The chef prepared some additional dishes that were veggie and spicy that were not on the menu. It made my guests feel special. All the food was super.
