My loved one is doing pretty well here at this community. I know he is safe and being cared for very well. They do a good job his personal care, he always looks good. They are taking very good of him and his needs. The staff is great. Some days are better than others, but so everything is well. This is a good community, and everybody has been very kind.

We were very happy to find Pacifica for our mother. She was briefly at Calusa Harbor but we moved her after a short time. They might be good for other types of needs but not for memory care. Pacifica is memory care only. Residents there vary in terms of impairment and are grouped accordingly. We find the management solid, the staff caring, the facility clean, quiet and pleasant, and the food quite acceptable. Whatever our mother's trajectory, we are confident she will be CARED for at Pacifica.

Medical attention is very good, cottages where family members reside is not very clean and understaffed on the weekends. Outside patio furniture cushions are very dirty, need to be thrown out and replaced with new cushions. Outside ceiling fans are very old and need to be replaced. One fan shakes back and forth and could eventually fall from ceiling. Meals seem to be adequate.
Ownership changed 3 times in 4 months. They tried to raise rent in the middle of lease. They left my father with a open cyst on his back no cure. There was a dead. Cockroach 2 weeks in a row in the main bathroom in the same spot. Very little if any cleaning. Food was ok, staff was ok. They were also supposed to take him to doctors appointments within. 10 miles of the facility and failed to do that as well.

High staff turnover and inconsistent follow through with her care plan plus communication. Lost almost all of her clothes and is wearing whatever they find for her. Hired someone to wash her hair weekly because my sister in law refuses to shower and I pay someone to check on her bimonthly because I live out of state and I don't always know what is going on.

The place was clean when I was there the food looked good and the staff that I saw were friendly. Like I said I am not close so I'm not sure how accurate my rating is. They did not seem to have much in the way of activities to keep the residents busy only thing I saw was the television ( my mother in law is not a social person and does not care for games so for her that is not a problem).

The staff is amazing. Very helpful when we need anything. This is based on her level. I don't know or see the next level that my mom will eventually need. My family and I have had the food there - the Chef is next level. In the spring, Pacifica lost the most amazing Activities Director and has had difficulty replacing her - with anyone. Pacifica was very clean. The staff is always friendly and care has been good. The meals are fine. My mom doesn't participate in the activities, so not sure about them. The cost is in line with other places.
