When I placed my mother with Pacifica Fort Myers I set it up to automatically withdraw payment from her account. 6 months later I get a message that they never processed the payments and they were going to to hit us with $200 a month late fees unless I gave them my credit card number. I refused because I pay from my mother's account and didn't want to put 20k on a card. I sent them a check instead. They took the late fees out of the check and racked up more late fees. We did not have a good experience with Pacifica Senior Living Fort Myers. I would not recommend this facility to others.

Their non-care of my mom I feel contributed to her death. The staff is not well trained. My mother was having a stroke and they did not even notice. I asked them to call 911 and they said no, if you want to call you do it. They are not trained to assess and care for the residents. They are not kind to the residents. Do not move here.

Pacifica Fort Myers has been under new ownership several times in 17 years. Poorly trained staff, under staffed, lack of attention to details promised. My mother was there for three months. Every visit was worse than the previous visit. Meals were inadequate and always cold. There are no activities. Management never to be found. Residents wander the halls daily. The TV on all day. I do not recommend this place. But I do believe they take Medicaid.

There are so many good homes in Fort Myers, do not make the mistake of going to Pacifica, wasting your hard earned money just to have your family treated horribly. The staff is horrible especially [Removed]. Worst human being ever. Very disrespectful and disgusting. Please reconsider.

After visiting my father on Thanksgiving day as I do every week, I took him outside in the courtyard to walk. There's not a large area at all to walk around a path from one side door to the back door of the facility of a cottage. On the only walkway for the elderly to walk or roll their wheel chairs, I found the walkway was cluttered with sticks, branches and hundreds of acorns that had fallen off the trees above. When the hospital was ready to release her on a Saturday no one at Pacifica was in charge to accept her. She was finally transported to Pacifica monday evening. This was very difficult to accept, I prepaid to hold her room since the previous Thursday.
