Every time I came to visit, my mom was always in the activity room. At her other location, she was always in her bed. Very clean facility. They made sure to change her often. All the staff was very friendly and very kind to my mom. Mary Kate, the activities director is wonderful. She always had a variety of activities for the residents and made the families feel comfortable to participate.
Facility was built 10 years ago and very well kept, inside and outside. Staff is always friendly and very careful when assisting my mom.
I would rate each category 4. I am happy with Heritage, as is my Mom. Staff is friendly and most seem to care about the residents and are patient with those requiring a higher level of care. The facility is always clean, food is good, and most of the residents seem to enjoy the activities. I also enjoy the activities they have for the families to join. I would recommend Heritage Court in Waukesha.
The facility just felt right for my mom from the friendly staff to the people working in the front office. It was just comforting to know she would be looked after by knowledgeable and caring people. Housekeeping and laundry don’t seem to be an issue as it was at other facilities.
The staff is very friendly and kind. The Activities Director is excellent. The chefs/cooks do an excellent job. Activities are very good when they happen, many days there is nothing happening. I had to ask for my moms room to be cleaned - now there isn't a head cleaning person again.
My loved one was a resident at Heritage Court Waukesha. Answers for the door took a long time. There is only one person on between 6-7 am. There is not a nurse on staff, but communication with the family is above expectations. The staff develops a close relationship with their residents and family. Our family had previous experience with this community with a different loved one being there and its very convenient for our family which helped make that deciding factor. Based on our families experience we would recommend the Heritage Court to others,
We chose Heritage Court Waukesha because with everything going on with the virus, they were the only ones accepting new residents. The room sizes here were adequate for her needs. The best part about the community was the director and main nurse, they were very helpful. I would recommend.
