We picked this community, because of the good sales people. They need the hallway carpets replaced, or cleaned. Diversifying their activities a little, definitely improve their meals especially dinner. It was better for like a week. Now it seems it's back to the way it was.
The main reason we chose Heritage Place over other facilities we looked at was just due to the location and being close to family. The facility has a friendly atmosphere with mediocre food and some activities. A new activities director was hired as we left, so hopefully now there is more for residents to do.
We had a very nice tour experience at Heritage Place. The gal showing us around was very well dressed, professional, and gave us a lot of great information. She even walked us out to the car afterwards and gave us a goody-bag of homeade cookies. The reason we did not choose this facility was because the room that my mom would have had was far away from the dining room and she was not very mobile at the time. Other than that it seemed like a great facility.
The staff have all been really helpful and friendly. Overall it has been a great experience so far.

Overall it's a good place, although there have been some challenges. They've had problems with the plumbing and not having hot water. Sometimes they run out of food and have been without a cook, so the food is not very good- just sometimes, not all the time. And they've had problems with the cleaning sometimes. But overall it's nice, and my friend is enjoying it very well.
We like it!! Much better than where she was. We'd definitely recommend!

Majority of the staff at this community have been great to work with. There is one person that can be a little harder to work with. However, I would recommend this community. Overall everything has been great and as long as your loved one is independent this is a good place for them.
Overall, it has been great. The staff has been fantastic and very friendly. One of our main search criteria was that all meals be provided. They serve three meals a day, seven days a week, so there's not any meal our loved ones have to worry about getting. Mom likes the food, but Dad is pretty picky. Overall it's good, and there are lots of choices available. They love the activities. They're geared toward everybody, men and women. This community is a very peaceful place. I looked at ten places, but when I walked in here, it felt like home. Everyone is friendly to everyone else , no clicks and no snobbiness, The food is slowly getting better. They offer a lot of activities if you want them. They have a craft room, billiard room , TV room, exercise room and a full chapel. They have a raised garden for the residents who enjoy gardening. I love it here.
