Hisbiscus We had a very nice stay here. The decor is funky and fun, the breakfast was tasty, check-in was a breeze, and the ladies in the cafe were super friendly.

Great location; great concept; needs updating. We brought our own sheets, pillows, blankets, coffee pot and candles and had a great stay

Wonderful and quaint find at Grayton Beach. Minutes to beach and feet from the 30A bike bath. Hosts were top notch and the food is excellent.

it takes me back to the old motels that we stayed in when I young. love all the Florida décor----feels like an old friend.

choose a different room While the woodpecker cottage looked cute online, the furnishings in the room were not great. The furniture was worn - and not in a charming shabby chic way. A little musty in the room. And the bed was the noisiest (like rusty springs) that I have ever encountered. Good thing I was alone! On the plus side, they were accommodating in letting me get a to go breakfast before they opened the restaurant for the day.

Mary, We are sad you felt this way and wish you would have given us a heads up! We could have seen if there was another room, more suitable. We definitely carry the "Old Florida" vibe but know that's not for everyone. Some of the rooms (like the Flats) are a bit more modern, we try to have something for everyone. Glad you enjoyed breakfast!
