I have a special needs child and her vision issues are just one of many complications she has in life. She never attempted connect with my daughter, explain to her what was going on or the importance of what she was suggesting and would barely allow me to complete a sentence before she interrupted me with a demeaning tone as though I was incapable of understanding what she was saying. I have never been so disappointed in a physician in my life. We will never go back.
This was my first visit. I was very impressed with the entire experience. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Dr. Cox took time to explain the answers to my questions. I didn't feel rushed. I'll definitely be returning for regular visits.
This was my first visit with Dr. Cox after several unsatisfactory experiences with other Wilmington Eye doctors. I was very impressed with her friendly but professional manner. She was thorough, listened to me and addressed all my concerns using understandable language. I am a fan!
Dr Cox does a great job of explaining the issues and detailing a course of action. Despite being very a very busy office, she takes the time so that the patient understands what is happening and what we need to do make it better

I last saw Dr Cox in 2019 for floaters. This year i am needing cataract surgery. Her staff is very professional and thorough. They do a lot of prep and testing then Dr Cox reviews findings and discusses them and checks a few additional things herself. She is very hands on and knowledgeable puts me at ease and very personable. I wouldn’t go to any other eye doctor and have referred several of my friends.
Dr. Cox is always thorough and takes the time to listen and advise.
Dr. Cox and her team consistently demonstrate a genuine interest in my visual health. Their problem oriented and patient centered care yields effective and personalized care. Highly recommended!
