My visits concern intraocular pressure and the potential threat of glaucoma. Dr. Cox took this potential situation more seriously than any of my previous ophthalmologists had. So far, we think the situation may be under control. As the title indicates - Dr. Cox has my highest recommendations.
I had hemorrhaging in both eyes, Dr. Cox gave me a straight forward resolve. I came back in 90 days for a follow up and the hemorrhaging had gone away. I took her advice and it saved my vision.
Dr. Cox examined my eyes thoroughly and came up with a treatment plan that saved my vision. She is excellent at explaining things and making sure that you understand what is going on. She was very reassuring to my daughter who was extremely worried about my vision. She is also kind and friendly which makes for a nice visit.
Dr. Cox examined me and explained the aftercare of my surgery and what to expect.
All staff members who I had contact with were efficient and pleasant. Dr Cox explained the outcome of the tests that were performed in clear and concise terms, ensured that I understood, and gave me an opportunity to ask questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Cox to anyone in need of eye care.
Dr. Cox always explains what she sees as a potential problem and explains my conditions fully. She and her staff are always professional and caring, giving me just the right amount of personal attention without seeming to rush. A very busy office but efficiently operated. Dr. Cox deals wonderfully with my granddaughters, my daughter and myself, and soon to be adding a 4th generation (90+) patient to her practice!
Hilary Cox, OD, is Wilmington’s best ophthalmologist. We always see eye to eye. She is personable, knowledgeable, talented, and always glad to spend time in the examining room. The staff, from the front desk to the many assistants, are friendly and competent. Never rushed. That was the good part. I love that she covers all of the issues in a timely manner and is friendly while doing so. Her staff is also very professional and timely. I even got my husband to go to her because we were new to Wilmington. The office is also clean and well equipped.
Dr. Cox is amazing. She treats you with respect, explains everything thoroughly and never makes you feel like she’s in a rush.
