I would give this minus 5 stars if I could. These people are interested in only the bottom line - what they can charge to line their greedy pockets. We spent in excess of $3000 trying to get our 3-year-old dog well. The vets at Hillcrest strung us along for a year, drawing blood every couple of weeks and sending it to the lab. It’s odd to me that a place that calls themselves an animal hospital doesn’t have its’ own lab. The last day we took our dog in there, he stayed for the day. We are so sorry for the loss of Jasper. Jasper’s condition carried with it a long term, tedious disease process because it requires a balance of steroids and immunosuppressant medications Due to the side affects of these drugs and to monitor if the patient is responding to the treatment, frequent bloodwork is needed. We will continue to reach out to you in hopes that we can help you get through this difficult time.

I love Hillcrest Animal Hospital and several of my dogs have been patients here. But.....I have never been comfortable with the policy of taking my dogs to "the back" for different things. I just read an article written by a vet about this practice & I am now even more against this practice. Hillcrest Animal Hospital please review your policy concerning this.
Business response:
Hi Darlene, thank you for taking the time to review us online! We value your loyalty as a client and consider you a part of the Hillcrest Animal Hospital Family. We do offer to take patients to the back treatment room in an effort to reduce waiting time, as we have more doctors than exam rooms, or if the procedure or treatment is something the owner may not want to be around for. We want to assure you that it is not mandatory and you can elect out of having your pet seen there if you are uncomfortable with it. We hope this c... read more
