Excellent Second one I bought because 1st worked so well. Recently discovered it prints 2 sided very easily.
Best compact homework printer. The best printer I've bought so far. I haven't figured out the best way for high dpi b&w photos, but this is my best compact printer for college work and resumes.

Easy to set up, even on Linux with Wifi! I bought an HP printer at Staples recently. Setting it up on my linux system with wifi was helpless. So I returned it. I got home and Duck Duck Go searched for a linux friendly printer and found Brother. I downloaded the drivers onto my computer from their web page. Super easy. The Brother printer interface for connecting to my wifi was very intuitive.
A perfect product If you like me you wanted a printer that was able to print lots of black-and-white text for school or return labels or just general items that don’t need to be in color. I found myself with other printers extremely frustrated by the amount of ink that was a wasted by printing in color in the amount of time that it would take to print just simple emails or return labels. Small footprint, large paper tray and clean, clear black and white printing My third Brother Compact Laser Printer. I love this black and white laser printer because it always works and the 600 dpi resolution is awesome. It is easy to set up and installing toner is a "breeze". It is my "default" printer. I save a lol of money by using it when I do not need color (which is 90% of the time). I bought the warranty on my second Brother machine and they replace it after two years of heavy use.
