Excellent Quality Home printer for everyday use .
Excellent printer This printer is awesome. If you don't mind black/white then this printer is for you. It does not use a lot of ink and I've not had to replace the ink in over 9 months. Worth every penny!
My favorite printer This is a great printer for the house (as long as you only need monochrome). It's just like the one I bought for college, that I loved, but its wifi enabled so I can even print from my phone. Setup was easy and the main thing I was looking for was a stable wifi connection which seems to be solid. If you don't print often then this toner printer is perfect for you. It wont dry up like ink.
No hassle - just works I finally trashed my old inkjet printer and bought this one. I was tired of the ink cartridges drying up from lack of use and all the hassle required to plug in, clean heads, etc. I plugged this printer in, connected it to WiFi and that was it. I can print from any computer or phone in my house and it works. I love it.
Great Please disregard all of the bad reviews, I'm no professional IT support I'm not sure of the common sense level of the folks struggling to set this thing up. I got it set up in maybe 15 min from the tiny LCD screen, also went through the Brother registration using USB to WIFI. The only thing I had to look for was the MACHINE PASSWORD which is located on the back with the SN:xxxxxx. 3 seconds to find it. Print quality is great. Wifi functionality is great. It works right out of the box with excelle quality. It works. Does it’s job. No start-up problems
Fast, compact and nice Replaces an old laser printer that finally died. Haven't had it long enough to judge longevity but very happy with it so far. It is fast and much quieter than our old printer and considerably smaller and lighter. Plugged it in, installed the software and it linked up wirelessly with our laptops right away. Haven't needed tech support so can't rate that.
OMG a printer that actually WORKS! This thing is fantastic. No crap to deal with, no printer yakuza/mafia ink cartridge shake down. Plug this in. Connect to internet. Download software. Win at life. Thank you, Brother, for not being like Canon or HP.
timer on the toner--terrible! Also, document images from phone print too dark The toner cartridge sent along was supposedly a standard but ran out very quickly. The print quality was just fine but there is NO WAY to over-ride the "replace toner" message. A HUMAN BEING should be able to DECIDE if the print quality is "good enough" for the need!!
