Its a solid reliable printer Setting it up for the first time is a bit of a pain but once you get used to it, you don’t have much complaints. I like how fast it is and how the long toner last compared to regular ink
Great Printer I only will use laser printers. My last HP lasted about 20 years (until it was no longer supported by my computer upgrade) and I thought it was fabulous. My daughter recommended this Brother printer as a replacement and I love it! It is good looking, doesn't take up a lot of room on my desk, prints wirelessly, and prints double sided! The quality of the print is crisp. The only fault is that the paper stack is in a drawer and you can't see when it is time to refill. I can live with that though!
Printing from my cellphone I had a hard time setting up my network, but it's now functioning.
Fast, quiet, finnicky As mentioned above it’s very quiet and quick. Two sided printing is a nice feature. But it’s very difficult to wake up once it’s gone to sleep. And the menu is difficult to use (like entering WiFi password using arrows is time consuming and it’s hard to see what you’re doing). Overall a pretty decent printer.
Make sure you use the wifi router's WPS function to setup wifi, not entering password manually! It's impossible to setup wifi by entering the Wifi password on the printer. So for the first 7 months or so I simply used the USB cable. Today I read about a HP printer to configure Wifi you can just press a button and auto sync with the router. I tried on my Brother, surely it worked! You just press the Wifi button on Brother so the green button blinks, then go to your Wifi router , and find the WPS button (normally on the back),... read more

Fine laser printer for the money. Used in home office. Coming act and small footprint. First two weeks of use very pleased with purchase. Two sided printing, wireless via WiFi, high quality printing. High for a rice.
