works great, Brother customer service almost as good as Amazon This printer is just wanted I wanted and it works great. I did have the occasion to call Brother to help on the installation and the agent was courteous, helpful and we got it working. Would buy again
Tedious One-Time Setup, Good Basic Printer. It's fast. Doesn't cost a fortune. Toner refills reasonably priced (by toner standards). Setup requires poking in a bunch of settings with Up/Down arrows. Not exactly the quintessential Apple experience, but tolerable in low doses.
Connecting wifi was a Royal Pain I just finished the endless ordeal of connecting it to my home wifi network. This took over 30 minutes of frustration and not knowing wtf was running, downloading, installing, or otherwise going on as there is a royal mess of popup windows that are hard to follow. I work in IT and am used to being patient with low-usability software, otherwise I'd probably have given up and just connected a cable. Prints well, but hit or miss with wi-fi I have had intermittent success printing from my phone, but as an occasional wi-fi print from a computer or directly connected to another in my office, it prints exactly as I need it to.
Good basic laser printer For an inexpensive printer, this works great. Not too much difficulty connecting to wireless. A little slow to fire up but makes prints just fine,
Works as expected I have an older Brother printer that needed a new toner cartridge and found that I could buy a new printer with a cartridge for a few more dollars than just a cartridge for the old one. Like this one, love the fact that it was super easy to hook up cord-free. Smaller than what I had, so it takes up less space. Prints fine, no major issues. Great Laser Printer...and for only $80! Let's face it, most of the printing we do is black text. Emails, letters, recipes, news articles, etc. So why waste your expensive inkjet cartridges? I came to this conclusion recently and searched for a laser printer that (1) wasn't expensive (2) WiFi compatible with Apple's Airprint (3) name brand. Highly efficient, husband bought several brother fax machines many now, still verryyyy reliable! Purchased for daughter she likes greatly especially double sided printing!
Great If all you need to do is print black and white documents, look no further! Wireless printer can print from your phone or terminal! Very easy to setup as well!
