Delivered with outdated firmware Overall, a great monochrome laser printer for the home. However, we purposely bought it for the Google Cloud Print from Chromebooks. The printer was shipped with outdated firmware and therefor, didn't work with Google Could Print. If I didn't have a technical background I would have most likely returned the product.
Small and easy to use printer I like that the printer is monochrome as I always felt that color printers were a waste of ink. The printer is set up wirelessly with a computer and the process was very straightforward. I use the printer occasionally and I am happy so far.
Great value Setup is a breeze, quick, 2 sided printing. Zero problems with deep sleep !!
Easy setup I was amazed how easy it was to set up and have it print via wifi. Very good basic black only laser printer. Couldn't ask for anything more (well, maybe cheaper toner).
Easy to use Very easy to set up and connect to my laptop. Runs great; produces copies fast and does back to back copies too. Couldn't be happier.
Excellent value, but wireless set up is a headache Excellent and good looking printer, does the job flawlessly, especially impressive is two-side printing function. However , setting up with your WiFi is extremely complicated due to confusing menu and vague instructions. Almost had to return it, only after multiple attempts & guess work figured out how to operate its menu. Has to come with a link to instructional video or something.
Good now that we figured out the menu Not a fan of the set up menu , but the unit seems to work well so far. Wireless printing is awesome

WiFi connections For some Apple devices they do not like the supplied modem and will loose connections on WiFi. I have AT&T U-verse and my hp would have intermittent connection. I researched the issue and found out if I install a different hub I’ll always have connection. So I did this and now my hp printer stays connected all the time now. I tried the ipv6 issue and it was still off and on. But since I turned off the WiFi on at&t’s modem and installed a different company’s router I have no issues.
