Solid, fast, reliable Had this printer for a couple months and have had no issues. Easy to pair over wifi, easy to use. Only complaint is that the toner sensor is pretty conservative. I set it to by-pass after roughly 600 pages and I can often get 300-400 more out of one of their branded toners. I have not yet tried a third party toner but, but I will eventually update when I do.
Quick and quiet, wireless is solid. The printer is quick and very quiet when it prints. The wireless setup is easy and I've had no issues with it disconnecting from my network. There is a brother mobile app that allows you to print from mobile devices, it works surprisingly well.

Not A Copier A little high price for an item that does not make copies. I did expect more from this product. Unless you darken the print, it comes out light which means you are using more ink.
A great printer for the price I've been using this and other similar Brother printers for years, and I've been very happy with them. Originally, I bought them because they're compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux (I use all three). No, they don't last forever and eventually things go wrong (usually with the paper feed mechanism). But you can't beat them for the price. Easy to set up, quick to use. From the minute I opened the box to the first print, was less that 30 minutes. Can't get a better printer for the price.

You get what you pay for - and I'll revise my review and say, quite a lot Hey, it works and it's cheap. But if you print more than five or so pages shaded bars start to appear on the edges. If you want a simple printer that is not intended to create presentation level output, fine. Otherwise you'll have to spend more money. Correction: I must have started off with a bad cartridge. The output I'm getting now is clean, no matter how many pages I print. Works fine.
