Great printer! Very impressed so far. People that complained about the set up did not realize that you need to read the I instructions and use either use their phone or computer to set up the printer. Easiest WiFi printer I have ever set up. The software does everything for you. Super easy! And finally have a laser quality printer. We are giving away both of our ink jets now. Very satisfied!

Lovely, quiet, and quick. *I haven’t used tech support yet so I left it blank* I LOVE LOVE THIS PRINTER!!! For basic printing, which is what I bought it for, it’s amazing. Crisp, clear lettering and images. Black and white but that’s ok. Also it prints incredibly fast but quietly. Some important setup details to know 1. It does not have an ethernet port and thus cannot be setup with wired ethernet. 2. It does not support 5 GHz WiFi. 3. If you setup WiFi directly on the printer (using buttons and small LCD screen) you can't input a SPACE character if your WiFi password happens to have SPACE character(s) in it. All that said I was able to successfully set up the printer with my PC and the setup program that comes on the CD-ROM (ha, haven't used one of those in a while). Excellent for the money! So far so good! Excellent compact printer! Wireless! You can print documents of your cellphone if download the brother app. Good printer for people that work from home or homeschool their kids!
Brother to the rescue!!! After researching Consumer Report I went further to read all reviews. In conclusion Setup was not so easy however I found Brothers Tech support number and got a LIVE PERSON! Yah!!!! Tech support person walked me through complete wireless setup and usb connection. For this very reason I’m confident in my decision to purchase a Brothers printer. Good printer Easy to use and lightweight.
BUY A CORD - not a paid review. this thing is actually great for the price. it prints both sides. and is super affordable for a home printer. toner seems good for now. meaning its not too expensive. but the sleep mode BLEEPING SUCKS. don't bother connecting to wifi. spend the extra 20 dollars and save yourself screaming at your computer and printer alternatively, whether at the printer for NOT responding to your computer, or your computer for the piss poor google search answers on how to get your printer not out of DEEP slee... read more
