Brother printer Stoped working
Turn off Deep Sleep. The printer works GREAT Like other reviewers complaining about the Deep Sleep mode, I also had problems with the feature. I had to manually turn on the printer every time it entered into deep sleep. This happened every 60 seconds! I followed instructions found in a YouTube video and turned off the Deep Sleep feature...and now the printer works like a dream. Love it.
Died after 2 years of light use, but that is okay I bought this in Sept 2018 and it died a sudden death in January 2020, so just over two years. I had very light usage, maybe printing 20 pages a month, if that. Os, I guess not bad for a $100 printer. My main complaint is the blasted sleep mode. Not a huge issue, but my old printer would wake up when print job appeared. I had to manually press the buttons on the printer every time.
Perfect printer if you do not need color The product comes well packaged and it is an affordable, functional and low maintenance printer. If you do not need color printing, this is perfect as the toner is cheap, and it does not dry like an ink cartilage. Also a great choice if you print high volume in B&W. It prints on both sides of the paper, also, you can print directly from your iPhone or iPad.
