I replaced a different Brother laser printer because this one had was a newer model and I like the duplexing element. Great printer.
I needed a monochrome laser printer, but I did not want to spend a lot of money. I think this printer is the perfect combination of quality for the price.

Bought this to start working from home as it was mandated by my company. For the price, this thing is really good. I am able to print wirelessly from any device anywhere in the house.
I don't print much and I didn't want an ink jet printer because I felt ink would dry out with my limited use. I went laser printer and am very pleased. Brother makes a reliable product and I am happy with the print quality. It was easy to set up - connected to wifi and has been an asset for my home office.
This printer was such a great investment. I needed to print hundreds of pages of documents for an insurance company (not mine) after an accident and this really made the task not only easy but fast. Way faster than my inkjet. I love being able to print things in seconds versus minutes with my inkjet. Now all I need is a color model.
