This is a excellent printer. Prints fast and does an overall good job. Don't know about the longevity yet since I have only owned for a couple months. The only downfall I will say it has is when the paper is totally full in the paper tray it prints slower and has a habit of indicating it is out of paper. I don't know why but it happens everytime.
This is it! If you only need B&W, and are looking for that professional touch, then this is for you! I’ve been testing this printer for 4 months now and have to say that I am impressed! The startup and print takes about 7 seconds. Pages move at a fast and steady pace once you get it cranking. No jams experienced yet (I’m using insignia paper). Overall a nice machine. I will say the only con is the size. It is much larger than anticipated.
sometimes, it gets stucks and i dont know why. and the day later, it comes out a lot of papers which get stuck from the date before.
Fast and great quality printing and a great price. This is my third Brother printer in three decades. They have always lasted beyond their support. The last two were replaced, because Apple stopped supporting the drivers after 10 years each. Can't really complain. They were all used well and provided great service. We were ready for upgrades anyway, so no biggie. I'm not expecting any less from this one. Smooth operation and fast quality printing with AirPrint support. Can't ask for a better printer at this price.
I have always trusted Brother products, easy to set up and install. I had my last printer for 10 years!
