Easy to setup and use! Is perfect for using at home!
Love the printer so far - printed about 150 sheets. Setup however took about 4 hours and 2 calls to customer service. The router company actually help me fix the printer issue. So printer great - customer service not so great.
I never have had a problem with this printer. After initially getting the wireless network recognized and my router keyed into the printer, it remembers the settings and I don't have to fiddle with it after that. Once my PC and the printer were both connected to the same network and the brother software was installed on my PC, everything was very easy. Easy setup, great black and white print but weak on the scanner software. if you do tons of b&w printing then this is your scanner. If you like to scan photos, then get an HP. Set up is also a pain with no touch screen or digital keyboard. Its like typing the alphabet on an old flip phone.
Brother - HL-L2390DW is such a huge step up from any ink jet printer and I've had several of them. It is quiet, fast, high quality print output, and prints envelopes with no problems.
Because of the high cost of color cartridges that I HAD to have to make my last printer work, I decided to get a new printer with only black and white. Although a couple of times I have missed the color, for the most part I don't miss it at all. So far loving my new printer,
Set up was straightforward and meets our need for wireless printing from multiple sources.
This is a great printer, a non tecj person like myself will have absolutely no problem setting it up, even wireless if you wish. the sales rep, as always was fantastic.
This is my first laser printer purchase and I couldn't be happier. Crisp text, flawless wireless connectivity with my Windows 10 laptop, and high quality scanning. I have been printing and scanning documents without any cables plugged into the computer which is pretty cool. Not a fan of the nagging software Brother has you install to do wireless scanning - lots of reminders to use Brother's overpriced toner instead of generic versions.
