Great little printer. Does everything we need. Basic B&W printer.
I needed a laser with copy and scan capabilities that would be easy for my kids to connect with their laptops. This works well for these needs and was very affordable. Replaced an MFC-6800.
I bought this printer when my HP inkjet quit working. I had nothing but trouble with my last inkjet and decided to switch to a laser printer. So far it has been a great decision. The setup went easily, with no problems and it prints like a charm. IT is a little bigger than inkjets, but not huge. I don't print a lot of things, so I am glad that I won't have to worry about the ink drying up on this printer in between uses. Time will tell, but so far, I am very happy with this Brother printer.
This is an outstanding laser printer. $100 on sale. Prints fast and clear, easy setup, toner is under $50. Excellent buy. Highly recommend.
The print quality is great, however, I always have to turn the printer off then on in order for it to be detected on the wifi before I print. When I start printing wirelessly, it takes a min or 2 for the print to come out. I don’t think this is the router’s issue, I have updated the firmware, turned off firewall, restarted, moved the router closer, and it still has the same issue. I kind of regret buying this printer, but I am optimistic that it can be fixed with an update or maybe I’m doing something wrong.
I love this printer as the toner last forever it's been 8 months of constant use and still half full on toner!
I needed a simple black and white printer and this works great.
It's easy to operate. Quality of printing for what I use it for is nice.
