Works well, like an office printer. Have not tried scanning.
Does everything asked of it. Good all purpose home printer with acceptable speed and throughput. The wireless capability allows the placement to be where the most convenient.

This printer/scanner was very easy to install and set up. I’ve had no issues and it works great. It doesn’t print color or large sheets, but it meets my needs. Great quality for the price.

Easy set up and smooth operation after start-up. The prints are very good quality too. Instructions were a little vague, you do have to use the screen ON the printer to enter your WiFi info, so a lot of pushing buttons to get the correct characters in. After that, its over and you can just print and print and print, and not worry about cartridge emptying so fast like a ink jet.
Terrific quality printer. However, directions for connecting to home Wi were the worst in history. I finally was able to do it after trial and error taking an hour. Brother website no help. They need to get the directions right.
The laser printing aspect is sooooo much better than inkjets for home use. I live in a dry climate. I use this at home. Could be weeks between prints. Inkjets dry out and don't effectively "clean" or unclog. This is the way to go for me. Also, it has all the features I need: copy, scan, print (dual sided if I want). Love it.
