I really got tired of having to buy a set of color ink jet cartridges just because one color ran out. If you buy just the color that ran out, the cost is ridiculous. I decided to purchase the Brother laser printer because I really don't need to print in color. Easy to set up on my Mac, and is really fast on boot up (less than 20 sec on WiFi). My old ink jet took up to almost 2 min. to go through it's start up sequence. Great printer.
I am very happy with this printer. We needed a basic black-and-white laser printer, and this fits the bill perfectly. Unboxing and setup was a breeze, and the whole process took about 15 minutes until I was printing my first test page. Text is what I expect from a laser printer: dark and crisp. Very good wireless printer at a great price. Everything we needed.
I am so glad that I purchased this printer. So far it has worked like a charm. I always had issues with different brands of printers until now. Brother brand was recommended by a friend and I am so glad I listened. I also like the extra large ink cartridge.
