I love, love, love and love all of my brothers So I have brother HL-L5200DW, brother HL-L6250DW and now HL-L5000D. HL-L5200DW and HL-L6250DW when I made a first few prints the toner begin to spread excessive toner like you would sprinkle black pepper on paper, after watches some you tube video on how to clean the drum and the toner, the problem solved. Somehow missed the fact that it cannot be wireless networked It is a fine high volume desktop printer, only shortcoming is that it has to be connected to a computer and not through the wireless network, guess that's why it was so cheap!
Great printer, but I warn you, YOU NEED TO BUY A-B USB CABLE, and it has NO ETHERNET PORT! Only parallel cable provided, but seriously, does anyone use that in 2020? Btw it's a great printer.
Real Nice Printing on pre-printed pressure senstive label templates - Excellent Printing on 3" x 7" glossy pressure sensitive labels - Excellent Printing from DOS programs - Excellent I am using both the USB and parallel port, connecting two computers to the one printer. Real fine. Bypass tray holds about 25 of my thick label templates, so probably 50 pieces of plain paper. FYI - paper in the bypass tray needs to be put in face up, head in or head left.
