Holmer Court has been a blessing for my Mother, the resident, and us as her family members. We are welcomed by the staff when we visit. My mother is very well cared for and seems very happy with her ‘mates’ as she puts it.

Wonderful friendly staff who do everything possible to make all residents happy and looked after at all times. A great place to live for anyone who needs a hand with daily living. Food and drink available whenever required and lots of activities if wanted.

Mum took up residence at Holmer Court at the start of March 2022. Naturally, it took her some time to settle into her new surroundings but throughout the process, the staff and management have gone above and beyond to make her feel welcome, loved and supported. I cannot speak more highly of the approach that Holmer Court take to embracing all of their residents into the community of the home. My Nan went to stay here from 2017 the staff were amazing always kept me up to date with Nan's health etc. When Nan passed away they invited me up to have a chat and talk about my Nan who they knew I adored. I do miss talking to the staff and residents felt like a big extended family.

The kindness and patience shown by all staff are very high. If you are worried the manager will be there to help you. I was worried before my Mum went to Holmer Court Care Home I had no need to, they have been marvelous.

I have been interacting with Holmer Court for several months now, including a half dozen on-site visits (although because of Covid I've not been able to see much of the facility first-hand). In terms of the personnel and staff, they truly are uniformly superb: caring, upbeat, leaving me well comforted that my mother is getting the best care possible. When I decided to look at care homes for Mum it was a very daunting, but after viewing a few in Hereford I then went to Holmer Court Care Home and instantly knew this was the right home for mum. Mum was in the middle stages of Alzheimer’s and age 78 ( but always young at heart). The manager was so welcoming and after showing me around I picked up on the friendly happy atmosphere of the home which was lovely. What an amazing place, I can not thank the staff enough for the care they gave to my Dad. I moved him to Holmer Court Care Home when he was no longer able to stay in his own home even with live-in care. Dad wasn't the easiest of people to look after but everyone was kind, patient and very caring to him - I couldn't have asked for more. They were very proactive with looking after his needs and their communication with me was excellent.
