Location could not have been better. Unfortunately they seem to run with a skeleton staff due to the small size of the property. When needing assistance it was hit or miss. But...kept you guessing...
Nice find in midtown Stayed at 48Lex while meeting up with friends in NYC. The location and facilities are excellent and the room is a very good size, especially for a high-density city. The staff are great to work with but their tools for managing guest check-in and check-out are not ideal. Check-in and check-out took a much longer time than expected.
Second stay here and everything was good. It was quiet and clean. I got a very good night’s sleep. I was upgraded to a King size bed which was very nice! The only snag was that I checked in a little early and left my bag there. I was told it would be in my room when the room was ready, but when I returned after my day of meetings, it wasn’t in my room. So I had to call for it. Minor annoyance but they brought it up within 10mins.
Schönes großes Zimmer, toll eingerichtet, das Badezimmer groß, mit Schiebetür. Leider war die Zimmerreinigung nicht immer fähig, die Möbel wieder an die richtige Stelle zu schieben, sodass wir das übernehmen mussten. Das angebotene Frühstück war, für uns, eine absolute Katastrophe! Eine Sorte Brot, keine Butter, nur Frischkäse, Erdnussbutter und eine Sorte Marmelade. Wir sind nach 2 Tagen nicht mehr dort frühstücken gegangen. Zusätzlich waren sehr wenige Plätze vorhanden.
Nice stay at 48Lex Place is grate. Extras like breakfast, wine and gym are subpar. Bar was closed. For the rest, staff was good, room is grest, location too, it seems there are some renovations on some levels but they don't bother.
Breakfast was nice but stuff was too slow to cleanup dishes from tables and bringing clean dishes and utensils which was causing some commotion
