I am having surgery on Monday, 11/4. I needed to get a chest X-ray as part of my pre-op appointment ASAP. On 10/28, my PCP sent a referral to schedule an appointment. I called and asked if I could be a walk-in. The scheduler put me on hold and asked if I could walk in without an appointment. She said I needed to be there before 3pm. I went in and much to my surprise and relief, I was greeted with smiles and was directed to a young man who took care of me. He was so gracious and helpful.
