I have been under Dr. Civantos' care for 2 years, following surgery for a detached retina. He and his staff are friendly and always explain tests and procedures thoroughly, making sure I understand. Wait times have never been long.

Doctor Civantos is Very thorough and listens to you carefully. He really seems to care about his patients. In my experience he was the only one. I had problems after surgery and he was the only Doctor I spoke to that took my severe pain seriously. I seen three at Illinois Retina. Very upsetting.
