Dr. Maccumber is thorough and offers the best medical care. I’ve been a patient 17 years. After a messy retinal detachment and several other procedures, I’m very grateful for his expertise. The staff, very efficient and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Could not have asked for a better retinal specialist. He thoroughly explained the procedure (vitrectomy) and guided me through my recovery. Dr. Maccumber totally understood the importance of treating my condition expeditiously. He and his staff were wonderful in scheduling my surgery to avoid further complications or compromise. Excellent bedside manners. Superb credentials. Highly recommend.

As a first time patient, my impression is that Dr. MacCumber seems to be very knowledgeable. but I had a 2 hour wait to see him. That is too long!

In 2019 i partially tore my retinas in 2 places. Dr. MacCumber reattached both in a single session. Both reattachments were fully successful, as verified in followup exams both with him and my regular opthalmologist who had recommended him. Dr. MacCumber is very professional and efficient in the followup excams. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Maccumber has been treating my Macular Hole for over 15 years. He is extremely thorough and takes the time to discuss the problems and treatment. He has stabilized my eye problem and coordinates with my other medical providers.
