Dr. MacCumber is an excellent eye surgeon, but also has a bedside manner. Very reassuring, good at explaining procedures.

Dr. Maccumber is an excellent ophthalmologist with a calm, reassuring manner. He and his staff keep up with the latest technology. The office staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and the office is very efficient.

Dr Maccumber is very meticulous. He ordered additional tests when he felt that something was not adding up and his hunch was borne out. He did not make me feel rushed after waiting over two hours to finally see him. If only he could get his office wait times down it would be an excellent experience. Thankfully, I am retired so I can afford to be patient, but others may not be so lucky.

Syfovre injections are fairly new. The doctor has been very thorough in explaining its effects and also advising us about possible upcoming alternative treatments. He and his staff have facilitated our continue care in Florida over the winter.

The first positive for this practice was the initial call. The staff member was very thoughtful and they worked to quickly qualify my medical concern and get me scheduled for what was to me a frightening situation. Doctor McCumber has a great bedside manner. That, coupled with his ability to efficiently, and competently explain my medical condition in lay terms makes him top notch! I couldn’t give him and the practice team a higher endorsement.

Very caring and resourceful. Dr McCumber has changed my medication several times to enhance my vision and slow the degeneration.. I am a long-term patient and first went to Dr macomber about 15 years ago.
