I had a wonderful experience at Illinois Retina Associates! From the moment I arrived staff was friendly, helpful, and most professional. Dr. Chaturvedi is an exceptional ophthalmologist. He is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and extremely personable. Though it was our first time meeting, he made me feel so comfortable like I have been his patient for years. My first visit with Dr. Chaturvedi was February, 2020. He was thorough, and personable, and informative in answering my questions. This practice, and all the doctors I have seen there, have been fantastic! I had emergency retinal surgery in 2013, when Dr. Civantos repaired a retinal tear that I could see was causing blindness. They followed up annual visits, first with Dr. Macumber, then Dr. Flood, and now Dr. Chaturvedi. The practice and all the physicians are outstanding, responsive, and delightful to work with. I saw Dr. C in a crucial emergency situation, and I couldn’t have been in better hands. He explained clearly, instilled confidence in me that this could be resolved, and was candid about what procedure he needed to do to make it better. The procedure wasn’t pleasant, but his demeanor was great, he was calm and most importantly, it seems to have worked. He saved my sight. I was able to read his background info later. Very accomplished. Outstanding doctor. He knows his stuff!
