Station One Unit 7C - DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT. Stayed there for a week, 07/08/2017-07/15/2017. After we checked in and got into the room, it had obviously not been cleaned. There was dirty underwear on the floor of the bedroom and clothes in the dresser from a previous guest. As we started to unload groceries, we opened the refrigerator and it was disgusting. The place we rented at Kure beach was beautiful and very clean. The problem came when we checked out. Upon arrriving home we noticed that we had accidentally left a dress bag hanging in the rental closet. Called repeatedly about getting it back and kept being told the would look into and call me back. Never called back. Continued to try for over a week and still would not give me an answer as to whether the dress bag had been found by housekeeping or was still hanging in the rental. They were not helpful at all. Had a few issues with our room smelling like someone smoked in it. Burner on stove was broke and caught on fire. Cooking stuff was awful to cook with. The lady on the phone said I don't understand why you didn't call sooner probably because we drove a long time to get here and I have my hands full with kids on my vacation that I paid for. I shouldn't have to worry about this. Also it would have been nice to know sooner that there was a exterminator coming the week we booked our condo for the sake of my baby. Spoke on the phone with a woman named "Shelly" and she was very rude about setting up an appointment. I asked to set one up and she went on to tell me that "they don't rent to students at all" but don't list that on their website because that's poor advertisement. Absolutely ridiculous.
I recently had a friend in town who's looking to move from the northeast to Wilmington. The rental agent "Shelly Wilkie" point blank asked her if she had a job(she had two very successful business up north) because she didn't want to waste my friend's time of hers. Even after the rude phone conversation my friend went to the house showing anyway. She was greeted with "you Yankees are killing us."
