Dr Blair and staff have always treated us with respect, given us their time, yes - we have waited a bit at times, but he truly listens and respects his time with you as though you are his only patient.
In 2008, I wasn't feeling well and hadn't found a local doctor to take the place of those we left in Atlanta. I found Dr Blair who diagnosed my cancer and made all the arrangements to connect us with the Zimmer Center at NHRMC. At the time, we felt supported and lifted up when we were in shock and needed it most. AARP tells me that I will live longer if I have a woman as my family practitioner. Dr. Heather L. Davis, DO, fills the bill and goes far beyond. Very personable, thorough, patient, and communicative. In an emergency I've also visited Dr. Blair (Who could resist a beach-city doctor named 'Seaborn'!) and his leadership at Island Family Medicine clearly sets the standard. Highly recommended.
Dr. Blair is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Being a t1 diabetic since 1970 I have had many. He is my GP and I find him very knowledgeable and most informative and concerned with me as his patient. He works with you which I really love in a Dr. Explains things to you, the patient and answers any questions you may have. You are not rushed in and out like a number. You have a name. I have been seeing Dr. Blair since moving to NC about 3.5 years ago. He listens to concerns, and provides answers in a very understandable manner. His recommendations about testing and treatments have been spot on. He must be good because there are times when the waits can be long, even for scheduled appointments.
