They are terrible. Worst business ever. Wont answer the phone, online payment portal will not work, phone payments won't work.. then late charges come at you and they won't wave them. One of several times I have had problems with them. I'll never do business with them again.
I have rented a supposed climate controlled (feels like 85 degree at least ) 10x10 unit for over 3 years. The rent has gone from $115 mo to $166 mo. The asbestos blown walls flake off all over my stuff, the florescent ceiling light won't come on (no hall light over my unit- so its very dark), you can see the skylight through cracks in the ceiling, the door doesn't close all the way to the floor (I can slide my foot under the door) & it's suffocating inside the bldg...... so sweltering that I feel cooler outside in the sun. I just experienced a 11.8% increase in rent on my storage unit. This clearly shows that this is a business that can't manage its costs.
I was at this storage unit way before Istorage took over. It has went downhill since then. They keep changing the prices almost every 6 months with little notifications. I just found out that they let someone go and was told that he had my personal information (including my credit card information) in a briefcase and had been carrying it around for for years now without my knowledge.
