choose OVM instead of initial bank due to locality and a strong reference. James was extremely polite, respectful, knowledgeable, and patient. OVM was one of the contributing factors in winning the bid for my new house based on familiarity through the seller/ real estate agent. Staff was consistent and very helpful!! I had a very straight forward and professional experience with James Oaks at OVM Financial. I got a really great rate and they helped with all the loan paperwork. We had some misconceptions about the First Time Homebuyer program, we ended up having to take my fiancee of the loan and my income wasn't quite enough to buy the house myself outright. thankful for James and his team to have made this as easy of a process as possible. they handled everything for me and were always ready to help and answer questions. even responding to e mails and answering questions well outside of normal business hours. could not have purchased my home without them!
